Brad has been mentioning that I have a blog, but no information. It is kind of hard for me to post anything since I only have the internet at work, but here goes. My labor day weekend was very busy and very productive.

Saturday: My dad brought over his chainsaw and trailer and trimmed all of the trees (8 in all) back away from the house so that a new roof can be put on it. We then hauled it to the trailer and piled it high.

Sunday: After church the Sunday school class went to Blue sky café for our second Sunday lunch. (technically it was the first Sunday, but since next Sunday is the church picnic we thought we would just go then). After lunch my dad, mom and I went to my house to do some measuring and drawing for plans to build a new porch. The exisiting porch is rotting and falling down.

Monday: Demolition day. We tore the inside of the porch off. We then tore almost all of the walls down. We didn’t want to take them all down until we had the roof off. Which should come down tonight. When we get all of the porch off we are going to pour a foundation and then build a new porch, which will actually not be a porch anymore but part of the front room.

Well I better get back to work who knows who is watching me today. But that is another story for some other day.
